Deutsche Welle's visit highlights energy efficient measures implemented by Viña San Pedro

May, 2011.- A strong and international back-up to all energy efficient measures Viña San Pedro has been  implementing since 2008 was received last week, through the visit paid by German TV channel, Deutsche Welle, which came to our winery in order to carry out a complete reportage on the field.

German journalist Julia Henrichmann had the chance to know right in our winery at Molina, all the improvements in terms of efficient motors, tank isolating, cooling, heating and illumination systems, which have been implemented in the winery, derived from the studies made by the Technical University Federico Santa María and the later Energy Efficient Agreement signed last year with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Chilean Ministry for Energy.

Of course, Julia was also amazed by our vineyards, which she could see during a horse-ride, as well as with our Guest-House, our people and our wine's excellent quality, especially the organics, which made a great impression on her. All this, within the context of our 360°Sustainable commitment, considering a better management in the use of energy is a very important aspect of our focus.
